Welcome to the Intellivision Revolution!

Emulation

An emulator is a program that allows a computer, modern console, or a dedicated emulation device such as Rasberry Pi to emulate a different system's behavior. Emulators are most often used to play older video games, but they are also used to play games translated into other languages or to modify existing games. Emulators are also a useful tool in the development process of making homebrew games for older systems. Virtually all older video games are available online in ROM form.

Intellivision Emulation Programs

This Intellivision was designed and programmed by Joseph Zbiciak. It remains one of the most popular intellivision emulators to date. Compatible with most Operating Systems.  JZINTV
Also available is GuIntv, based on Jzintv for Mac users. Currently version 1.2 is available, but an updated version is in the works.     GUINTV

Nostalgia 5.0 is Windows XP-based Intellivision games emulator.

It will run all of the games (game roms) that the original Mattel

Intellivision game console ran. Additionally, Nostalgia also runs

homebrew  games that have been created over the years by

Intellivision enthusiasts. Youwill also need the ROM images that were contained in

chips in the original Intellivision.          NOSTALGIA 5

IntyOS is a multitasked operating system for the Intellivision console. It includes a powerful GUI which handles a mouse pointer, windows, menus, icons, etc. Right now, only binary files are available. But IntyOS will soon be released under the GNU General Public License (GPL) with complete source code and documentation.                      IntyOS

SDK-1600 is an Intellivision game develpment kit used to program new homebrew games for this 30 year old system. Use one of the available Intellivision emulators or Chad Schell's Intellicart to play your programmed game.       SDK-1600

INTYBASIC COMPILER

This is a command-line integer cross-compiler of a small subset of BASIC, it generates assembler for using with as1600, that in turn generates the final executable runnable in real Intellivision and/or emulation via jzintv.

It significatively eases writing games for Intellivision. I know it because the examples I'm attaching were written in less than an hour each one.

v0.1 of IntyBASIC compiler, executables for both Win and Mac. Along with another minigame example (game2.bas named inside Barzack)

v0.2 of IntyBASIC compiler. Updated executables for Win, Mac and now Linux. Added title.bas sample. BITMAP statement enhanced. More descriptions in manual.

v0.3 of IntyBASIC compiler. Added read-only arrays with DATA, arrays with DIM statement. And memory limit detection for variables. Solved various minor bugs and updated manual.

v0.4 of IntyBASIC compiler. Solved bug when assigning to array with constant index. Updated manual slightly.
